The Alternative to Replacement

Why Wrap Your Kitchen Instead of Replacing It?

A full kitchen replacement is one of the most expensive and disruptive home projects you can undertake. Wrapping gives you the new look without most of the drawbacks.

Significant Cost Saving

Where the existing kitchen is structurally sound, wrapping can cost less than full replacement because the carcasses, units and much of the existing installation remain in place. The difference depends on the replacement specification being compared, the amount of preparation required and the surfaces included in the wrapping project.

Done in Days, Not Weeks

A full kitchen replacement can involve removal, deliveries and coordination between several trades. Wrapping suitable existing surfaces is normally a much more contained project, with most Beespoke Covers kitchen wraps completed in one to two days depending on scope. Your kitchen stays in place throughout, without demolition or structural work.

Far Less Disruption

No skips. No plumbers. No electricians. No re-tiling. No weeks of dust and noise. Wrapping is clean, relatively quiet and contained. Most households can use the kitchen during the evenings of a two-day install. It's the low-disruption route to a completely different look.

Surface by Surface

What Can Be Wrapped in a Kitchen?

Most flat and lightly profiled kitchen surfaces can be wrapped. The carcases (the boxes) stay exactly as they are — we focus on the visible surfaces that define how your kitchen looks.

Kitchen doors & drawer fronts

Flat and shaker-style doors wrap particularly well. Heavily routed or ornate profiles may limit film application — we'll advise.

End panels

The exposed side panels of your kitchen run — often overlooked but very visible. Wrapping these completes the transformation.

Plinths & kickboards

The base trim at floor level — simple to wrap and makes the overall look consistent.

Pelmet & cornice strips

Decorative trim at the top of wall units — wrapping in a matching or contrasting finish adds a polished touch.

Worktops (where suitable)

Worktop wrapping can work well but depends on condition, edge profile, joins and how the surface is used. An instant ballpark does not confirm suitability; we assess the details before confirming a firm quotation. Read more about worktop wrapping →

Common Questions

Kitchen Wrapping FAQs

How much does kitchen wrapping cost in Manchester?
Kitchen wrapping guide prices in Greater Manchester are £1,600–£1,800 for a smaller kitchen, £2,100–£2,400 for a medium kitchen and £2,800–£3,200+ for a larger kitchen. These are guide prices only; final pricing depends on the kitchen's size, number of surfaces, condition, profiles, material, preparation and project scope. Worktop wrapping is a separate element of scope and is priced separately. Use the Instant Ballpark Quote for a project-specific estimated range; photos can be uploaded there and are recommended before a firm quotation.
Is kitchen wrapping cheaper than replacing?
In many suitable kitchens, wrapping can cost less than full replacement because the existing carcasses and units remain in place. The difference depends on the condition of the kitchen, preparation required, project scope and the replacement specification being compared.
How long does a kitchen wrap take?
Most kitchen wraps are completed in one to two days depending on the size of the kitchen and the number of surfaces being wrapped. Your kitchen stays in place throughout — there's no demolition or structural work. Most households can still use the kitchen in the evenings during a two-day project.
Can you wrap kitchen worktops too?
Worktop wrapping is possible on suitable surfaces, but suitability depends on the current condition, edge profile, number of joins and how the worktop is used. The Instant Ballpark Quote can provide an estimated range, but we still assess suitability before confirming a firm quotation. If wrapping is not appropriate for your worktops, we'll say so. Do I need to empty my kitchen?
Not fully. We'll ask you to clear surfaces and move any items from inside units being worked on, but the kitchen stays in place. Appliances are worked around in situ in most cases. We'll let you know exactly what's needed when we confirm the booking.
How do I get a quote for kitchen wrapping?
The quickest way is to use our Instant Ballpark Quote tool, which asks a few simple questions and gives you an estimated price range. You can also send us photos through our standard enquiry form or WhatsApp us on 07752 264 677. We'll review suitability before providing a firm quotation.
